Instructions
If there is another version of the program installed on the target PC, please uninstall it first. Save the downloaded file on a local physical drive of your PC that is NOT a mapped drive and in a folder that is NOT more than 2-levels deep. The file contains in a compressed format, the entire contents of the installation DVD for this edition of the software. The file is self-expanding. Since the expanded file structure is quite deep, if you started from a location that is more than 2-level deep, it is possible that Windows may not be able to access all the installation files in order to copy them in the target location(s).Right click on it and select 'Run As Administrator'. It will expand all its contained files into a subfolder named "SPDv{majorVerNo} Installer" but you can change it if desired (there will be a prompt for that). After all the files are extracted into the "SPDv{majorVerNo} Installer" subfolder, the installation scipt will be automatically started. Simply follow the instructions to install the software. If you wish to create an installation DVD, you can copy all the files under the "SPDv{majorVerNo} Installer" on a blanc DVD. Similarly, if you want to make the installation script available to others in your organization, you should place this folder on a company-network location, accessible by all eligible users of the software. You should keep the contents of this folder in case you need to access an individual file from the installation set that may be accidentally deleted or corrupt (e.g. "EBook.pdf", "Designer.chm", "PDSystem.v{majorVerNo}.mdb", "PDUser.v{majorVerNo}.mdb", etc.).
